Antioch Update
Dear Fellowservants,
It amazes me to see how quickly time passes. It seems like just a few months ago we had our King James Bible Conference, yet it is that time of year once again. The Lord has been especially good to us this year as we have received several new members in addition to the spiritual growth of existing members. With these blessings comes work, and this has perhaps been the busiest year of my life. As such, I have several items of interest that I would like to share with you.
King James Bible Conference
This year’s conference celebrates the 400th anniversary of our beloved Bible. The same Book that brought together the saints of yesteryear still brings us together in 2011. We are expecting another great time of singing, preaching and fellowship this year. The dates and times for the conference are June 6 at 7 p.m. and June 7 at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. For rates, contact Main Stay Suites on Merchants Drive at 865-247-0222 and ask for the King James Bible Conference rate. Please let us know you plan to attend by registering online at KingJamesConference.org.
Hymnbook Project
We are assisting Melody Publications in the production of a new hymnbook. Before you question why there is need of another hymnbook, I assure you that this hymn-book will be like no other. When finished, it will contain between 800 and 1,000 songs. Many of these will be new (old songs not known to most today) and many others will include the verses missing from all other songbooks. This project has brought about a spirit of revival within our congregation and I have no doubt that it will do the same for others.
New Book - The Fingerprint of God
Lord willing, we will be going to print with our latest book sometime this week. This book deals with the evidence that God’s fingerprint is on the King James Bible. It examines the doctrines of revelation, inspiration, preservation and illumination and proves God’s great care for His word.
